Little Helper
When I clean the floors. Rachel expects to help. She gets upset when I don't let her have the swiffer sweeper. Maybe she'll actually be helpful in about 10 years...?
Nana Visits!
The week after Labor Day, Kevin's mom was able to come and see us (love cheap tickets!!). We did a lot of running around, and we were super busy. Rachel was a pretty good sport through it all. We made our first trip to IKEA, which was interesting, and it was fun getting ideas for how to decorate and organize. We also went to a Rockies game. Way cool! We were so glad Nana could come and visit, it was a lot of fun!

Rachel was kind of restless during the first four innings, then she really calmed down for the rest of the game. She did really good considering the game started 15 minutes before her bedtime.
Journal Article
So after over a year. My journal article finally got published! It is about as exciting as my job was at the water lab. This is a link of the proof :)
Visitors!
Just before Labor Day Kyle and Shantay came to visit. It was a fun! Rachel just loved having them here. This pictures are a little shuffled, but I labeled them so you can tell where we are. We did some fun stuff!
We went to the Butterfly Pavilion, super cool. We all thought it was pretty neat.

Red Rocks Amphitheater. Definitely worth going to. We will have to go again with some hiking shoes. Kind of weird thing though, there were people exercising on the steps. Would NOT be my choice of venue to exercise. The smaller the audience the better for me.
At the Butterfly Museum they let you hold a tarantula!!! Pretty cool. Rachel was too little, ages three and up.
Rachel was bound and determined to run away while at Red Rocks. At least Kevin was the one chasing her.
Rachel loved Kyle, she was his shadow while he was here.
