I think Halloween was the last post...
Right now we are doing really good. I must say we are a bit boring and don't do too much exploring, but we haven't been bored. We have Colby (my bro) and Michelle (his wife) just south of us, so we get to see them more. We love it :) We just had Kevin's parents come to see us Easter weekend, which was way fun. We finally got out and did some Denver stuff, went to the Museum and an ice cream place that looks like a milk can (Little Man's Ice Cream). Way fun weekend.
Rachel has been walking for a few weeks now. Now she is mastering speed and shoes. She just keeps getting better and better at it. Today when I asked her where her nose was she pointed to it and said "No". That surprised me, since she really doesn't mimic or repeat too much. She talks and jabbers all the time, but they are her own words. I think mom's are suppose to know what it means, but I don't have that talent. She says "Uh-oh!" when she drops something, ya know, when they drop food off the side of their high chair on purpose. I'm sure Rachel didn't come up with that. She likes to give open mouth kisses on our cheeks, she hasn't got the puckering thing down quite yet. In the last month or two she has started hugging real tight around the neck, and holding herself up better when she is sitting on my hip. I love the hugs she gives, she can almost choke ya. She understands more than I realize sometimes. Some things she knows is to shut a door or cupboard if you ask. Whether she does it or not is a different story. Most everything that she does know how to do, she won't do unless she wants to. So if you get her in the right mood she will give a good kiss and hug :)
Kevin's family Easter weekend.
Rachel got a giant pink hippo for Easter. She kept tackling it and got pretty possessive for a while. She didn't want anyone touching it.
We got to have a taste of what life would be like with five kids when we stayed with Shelly and Russel's kids. This is Brianna taking Rachel for a ride. She love being around all the kids. Too bad she's going to have to be the oldest in her family.
We bought a second vehicle. Kevin still takes the car to work most days, but at least I'm not stranded.

Rachel would not touch her birthday cake. This really surprised me since she is always smearing things around on her high chair tray whenever she gets the opportunity. In fact she kind of got upset because we were trying so hard to convince her that it would be fun.
Now we are getting into some older pictures from before we were actually in Colorado. For a few weeks we stayed at both our parents houses. They were kind enough to have us while we were in between homes. It made for a nice long holiday.
Rachel really enjoyed this, she like it enough that we got her one too. Even now she is crawling into everything she can fit in. We have some plastic dressers and she pulls the drawers out and empties them so she can sit in them. So naturally she likes the tent and tunnel too.
These were some devil horn she got after we took her pig tails out. She was pretty tired too, so it made for a good picture :)
Now we are into pictures when we were still our apartment in Logan. So she is less than 11 months.
First pig tails.
Reading is so fun!!! As you can see.

I was beginning to wonder if you were still alive! The pictures are a lot of fun and you look so cute. Rachel is adorable and looks like she keeps you busy. Let me know when you visit Logan again.
