This post is dedicated to Kevin's mom. Here you go, because we love you so much :)
First off I had some pictures from our trip to Utah I wanted to share. This was from Memorial Day. A little late, but that is how we roll.
This is where Drew and Rachel hung out most of the time while we were outside.
First pictures in our new house. We moved June 25th from Littleton to Castle Rock. It was nice having furnished apartments up to this point, but now we have to gather some furniture. The house we bought already had all the appliances (even though we need to replace the fridge already), still nice to not have to buy all of it though.
The first few nights we didn't have a bed, so we pulled out our air mattress and slept on it until we got one. So Rachel got to take advantage :)
4th of July weekend was really busy (but no pictures to show for it). Friday we went to Water World with Colby and Tonya's Family's. Rachel loves loves loves the water, even when she is blue from being cold, she just wants to be splashing. Colby and Kevin would take the kids while Michelle and I played, and we would swap. On our turn to watch the kids, Rachel didn't make it to the kiddie pool, she fell asleep in my arms on the way. One minute she was trying to take her hat off, and the next minute she was out cold.
Saturday and Sunday we hung out with Colby, Michelle, Jayden, and Kylie. We played games went to the outlet malls, and played at the park. Then Monday, Tonya came down to our house and we had some burgers and played volleyball. It was a fun weekend, and I'm kicking myself for not getting my camera out!
This is as good as the pictures get for last weekend. Jenni and Kendall came up from Albuquerque. We took it easy most of the weekend, just playing some games and yard selling :) Saturday we drove downtown Denver, just to drive around looking at cool buildings.
Rachel's favorite spot in the house. It is her seat that fits her just right. She also got a good scratch on her cheek from tripping and running into the corner of the door. I though it was going to get a lot worse from how bad the fall was, but it is already getting better.

Master Bedroom, yes clean, I know. Not to mention our bed doesn't have a frame and we have no furniture. Our list is long, so at least we aren't sleeping on the blowup mattress anymore :)
Master Bathroom is the first door on the right when you walk into the master bedroom.
Kevin's closet is to the left when you walk into the bedroom.
My closet (yes we each have our own), is the second door on the right when you walk into the bedroom. It even has its own window. LOVE IT!!
So I guess that concludes the tour. Much decorating that needs to be done. I need to hang up pictures and find homes for many more things, but for the most part we are feeling at home and really liking the new place.

It beautiful Marti. Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Congratulations!! I told John and he went online to see how much houses were there and we both got really sad and depressed because we want a house so bad!! But a house like that here will cost about 500,000... Have fun decorating!! I love to decorate!
