Another Little Sis
I meant to post this right when we found out, but on the 15th we found out that we are having a girl! I'm excited for them to be able to have sisters (I didn't get one...).

It's August!
We are pretty much settled now. Decorating still hasn't really happened, and there are a few things that haven't been unpacked yet, like books and such. The list of things that we need to do with the house is never ending, and the things we want to do just keeps getting longer. I don't know that you ever get "caught up". We're liking it for the most part though. We have yet to go camping this year... hopefully this weekend though. Kevin keeps busy doing stuff with the yard and house. The people before us apparently didn't know what a stud was, so Kevin has fixed a lot of stuff that was screwed into the drywall.
Rachel and I went to the Library for the first time. She was in heaven, and I was very tired after. She normally loves to bring us books and have us read them to her, but all she wanted to do there was rip them all off the shelves...
She is saying a new word every day it seems like. She usually surprises us. I haven't been very good with the baby signing, but she got to the point where she would scream at us when she wanted something, so we taught her "please" and "more". She knows where most of her face is. She says "eye" and "eyes" and "no" for nose. She says "go" and "car" and "moe" for more. She can say "you" really good. When she says "I love you" she points to her eye, folds her arm, and points to us and says "you". Love it!
She is always jabbering, and she especially likes to look through a book and pretend to read. She hasn't done this for a while, but she would walk around with her arms folded and her head bowed and be talking to herself like she was praying. That made us laugh. She catches onto things fast, I'm just not fast enough at teaching her.
Anyways, here are some pictures since last time.
Rachel goes to bed really good. There are some occasional days where we have had a busy day or we have visitors and she protests a bit, but for the most part she likes to get in her pj's, loves her book, sits quite for prayers, then reaches for her crib. This was last night. I walked in on them and had to go get the camera. Good thing the book was long. Kevin was improvising the words, "...and this is a really long book..."
She loves being outside and she loves the swing set in our backyard. My only complaint is she still needs my help with everything on the swing set. We got to the playground down the street and she can climb up every thing really good, but the slides are always hot, so she won't go down by herself. Can't blame her.
Rachel hangin' at her favorite spot.
Katie came to visit! Way fun weekend. We went to the Denver Aquarium while she was here.
There was no flash allowed, so the pictures are pretty shotty.
That is Katie and I, can't tell, but it is :)
Giving the starfish "high five"
Probably gross, but she was giving the fish a kiss.
She was being a tour guide.
Saying "good night".
She is constantly at work (work for her, making messes for me). Its bad when she gets a tool like a laundry basket though. More damage in less time. Mostly moving toys from here to there.
We get to see our cousins Jayden and Kylie a lot, but never remember to take pictures. I didn't even know these were on the camera, daddy did good while Mommy and Michelle were yard selling :) We did good that day! Got a practically new indoor playground ($20), nice microfiber glider and foot rest ($30), some shelves to put up on the wall ($1), a full body mirror ($1), and a bunch of toys for $0.25 a peice. I was most excited about the glider :)

Big Post
This post is dedicated to Kevin's mom. Here you go, because we love you so much :)
First off I had some pictures from our trip to Utah I wanted to share. This was from Memorial Day. A little late, but that is how we roll.
This is where Drew and Rachel hung out most of the time while we were outside.
First pictures in our new house. We moved June 25th from Littleton to Castle Rock. It was nice having furnished apartments up to this point, but now we have to gather some furniture. The house we bought already had all the appliances (even though we need to replace the fridge already), still nice to not have to buy all of it though.
The first few nights we didn't have a bed, so we pulled out our air mattress and slept on it until we got one. So Rachel got to take advantage :)
4th of July weekend was really busy (but no pictures to show for it). Friday we went to Water World with Colby and Tonya's Family's. Rachel loves loves loves the water, even when she is blue from being cold, she just wants to be splashing. Colby and Kevin would take the kids while Michelle and I played, and we would swap. On our turn to watch the kids, Rachel didn't make it to the kiddie pool, she fell asleep in my arms on the way. One minute she was trying to take her hat off, and the next minute she was out cold.
Saturday and Sunday we hung out with Colby, Michelle, Jayden, and Kylie. We played games went to the outlet malls, and played at the park. Then Monday, Tonya came down to our house and we had some burgers and played volleyball. It was a fun weekend, and I'm kicking myself for not getting my camera out!
This is as good as the pictures get for last weekend. Jenni and Kendall came up from Albuquerque. We took it easy most of the weekend, just playing some games and yard selling :) Saturday we drove downtown Denver, just to drive around looking at cool buildings.
Rachel's favorite spot in the house. It is her seat that fits her just right. She also got a good scratch on her cheek from tripping and running into the corner of the door. I though it was going to get a lot worse from how bad the fall was, but it is already getting better.

Middle bedroom.
Corner Bedroom.
Upstairs Bathroom.
Master Bedroom, yes clean, I know. Not to mention our bed doesn't have a frame and we have no furniture. Our list is long, so at least we aren't sleeping on the blowup mattress anymore :)
Master Bathroom is the first door on the right when you walk into the master bedroom.
Kevin's closet is to the left when you walk into the bedroom.
My closet (yes we each have our own), is the second door on the right when you walk into the bedroom. It even has its own window. LOVE IT!!
So I guess that concludes the tour. Much decorating that needs to be done. I need to hang up pictures and find homes for many more things, but for the most part we are feeling at home and really liking the new place.
